interventional radiology (embolizations)
The hemodynamic room is mainly used for these specialties; procedures consist of inserting a catheter through the groin or wrist to reach the artery or vein to be treated from any part of the body, in which, balloons are placed to expand an artery, stents that is a mesh that keeps the artery open or other more specialized devices.
