1.- GUARANTEE PAYMENT

In compliance with the policies of the insured or their beneficiaries, a payment guarantee will be requested, either by cash credit card, in order to guarantee the payment of personal expenses or services not included or not covered by the Insurer, such as : deductibles, coinsurance, difference in room, conditions not covered, etc.

A payment guarantee will be requested, either promissory note or credit card, in addition a cash or card deposit will be requested, the amount is determined at the time with the admission staff according to the type of your insurance policy and the type of admission of the patient (emergency, hospital, surgery or intensive therapy), with the aim of guaranteeing the payment of the expenses of services not included or not covered by the Insurer such as: deductibles, coinsurance, difference in room, non-covered conditions, etc

2.- PRE-ADMISSION (FAST ENTRANCE)

In order to provide a more expeditious admission once your doctor schedules your admission, the admission staff will make a prior call to make your pre-admission, collecting basic information and informing you of the admission requirements. The admissions staff will identify themselves with their full name and provide the extension where they can be reached.

3.- HOW TO CONTACT YOUR INSURER

We suggest you contact your insurance agent directly, or the intermediary who offered it to you (company, school, etc.), who should inform you to your full satisfaction of the conditions of the medical-hospital agreement, as well as the payment of the deductible and coinsurance indicated in your policy and all those services not included or covered by it; If you are not satisfied or your doubts are not resolved, you can also contact the insurance department of the San José Navojoa Hospital at extension 406.

4.- STATUS OF THE ACCOUNT STATEMENT

You must assign a person responsible for the patient's account, to whom the admission department will send daily via WhatsApp, the status of the account statement, with the following points:

  • Whether or not there is an authorization letter from the insurer

  • How much is the deductible and coinsurance according to the policy.

  • Whether there are deviations or not. (services or supplies not covered by insurance).

  • How much is the deposit account and sum of the deposits to the day that you have made  (admission will be asking for deposits according to how the account grows).

  • Total debit or balance in favor per day.

  • Annex of the account statement in PDF

    • Total hospital and Laboratories

    • Total medical fees

    • Total Radiology studies or other services.

5.- REGISTRATION AND ACCOUNT PAYMENT

Before settling your account, we recommend verifying 24 hours before, in admission extension 406 , the existence of the authorization letter or letter of scheduled surgery already with the total amounts to be paid with the conditions indicated by the insurer: the deductible and/or coinsurance and unauthorized or covered services.

6.- PAYMENT OF MEDICAL FEES

The payment of medical fees is additional to the payment of hospital services provided by Hospital San José.

 

Depending on the coverage of the policy, the payment of medical fees may be covered in the Hospital San José box, or depending on the type of policy, it may be direct payment to the doctor or with a cover letter for medical fees.

 

In the event of hospitalization, to avoid delays upon discharge, remind your doctors 24 hours in advance that they must notify you if they will adhere to the tabulator.
